My boyfriend and I are looking for apartments to move in together and, since we plan on getting married one day, we realized it is best to buy something now and not rent. So, we found this really cool apartment building that was all about eco-friendly stuff- right down to the eco-friendly stationery.

When they sent us a follow up letter on eco-friendly stationery, we were so amazed because it looked so cool. The letters were published in this lime color green and the paper was obviously crafted from recycled stuff. On the back of the stationery, there was print that said that there are floral seeds within the paper so, if I planted the stationery, flowers would grow!

The stationery was just a start of the awesome eco-friendly things they had available. The countertops in the lobby of the apartment building were all made from eco-friendly materials, like recycled glass bottles and gemstone. When I looked really close, I could see the bits and pieces from a green bottle of some sort.

There was short green grass everywhere and I could tell that they considered anything having to do with nature as a form of art. The basketball court was made from reused tires and any cloth or material found in the lobby was also made from reprocessed fibers.

The apartment encourages eco-friendly activities, like gardening. So they actually had an area of flower beds where occupants would have enough room to grow their own gardens.

The whole building was very eco-friendly and so creative. We are seriously debating living in a great environment like that. We will have to visit the building again for a another look and an inspection, but I know that when a place is that worried about the environment, it is a good thing and I definitely want to be a part of it.
